The Artimúsica BD41GC mandolin guitar combines the characteristics of the mandolin with the shape of the Portuguese guitar.
The mandolin is one of the most popular instruments in traditional Portuguese music, and it has multiplied into various versions throughout the world, being crucial in Celtic-inspired music and Brazilian popular music.
Made with high-quality woods, the Artimúsica BD41GC mandolin guitar is a distinctive stringed instrument with an exquisite finish. The top is made of spruce, framed by walnut, sycamore, or cherry (selected woods) on the sides and back. The neck is made of very resistant mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of panga panga wood.
Artimúsica has manufactured a mandolin that respects the original sound of this instrument, but with a Portuguese guitar body, giving it a different charm. Although it closely resembles the Brazilian mandolin due to its shape, the neck has the length of the Portuguese mandolin, which is shorter than in the Brazilian version.
