The Yamaha CLP-885 PE (Polished Ebony) is the flagship upright model in Yamaha’s Clavinova CLP-800 series, designed to deliver an exceptional digital piano experience that closely emulates a grand piano.

This model features the GrandTouch™ keyboard with wooden keys and synthetic ebony and ivory keytops, offering a highly responsive and realistic touch. It includes 88 keys with escapement and adjustable touch sensitivity, allowing for nuanced expression.

The CLP-885 PE is powered by Yamaha’s CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial piano samples, enhanced with Grand Expression Modeling and Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM), which recreate the complex tonal interactions of an acoustic piano. It supports 256-note polyphony, ensuring seamless performance even during complex passages.
