LeBlanc are well known for a high standard of clarinet manufacture - their instruments have been continually changed, developed and improved since their inception back in c1750.
Today the company work with a number of manufacturing hubs across the globe to bring a respected range of clarinets to the market place with each model having that distinct 'LeBlanc' character.
The CL650 is where things start and is an instrument priced to undercut the more familiar brands - Yamaha and Buffet - whilst ensuring an exceptional level of quality which is ideal for the progressing student.
The instrument is crafted from a brushed ABS composite material, developed to posses some of the qualities of wood - just like Yamaha and Buffet - whilst being easy to maintain and far less easy to damage. The under cut tone holes give and accurate and reliable seal whilst the silver plated nickle key work is light, well regulated and easy to use. This instrument does come with two barrels, one at 62mm with the other at 64mm. This is simply to allow ease of blending in regardless of the tuning situation when playing in an orchestra or wind band.
The instrument comes complete with a USA made mouthpiece and ligature and a lightweight rucksack style case with cleaning materials.
