The XDJ-AZ's intuitive 10.1-inch touchscreen not only displays more visual information, it also makes it easier to control everything. You can view up to 13 tracks at once - a huge increase from 8 on the XDJ-XZ - so you can see more of your music and find songs faster.

Other advanced features include the Playlist Bank, where you can register up to 4 playlists for quick access, Touch Preview, which lets you preview tracks in playlists without loading them, and Touch Cue, which you can use to preview the next section of tracks playing on the deck. All this makes selecting tracks quick and simple. And with the option of viewing the status of selected settings from the performance touch panel and Beat FX simultaneously, you can instantly pick up the information you need to perform.

Whether you want to add more sounds to your mix, create live mashups, prepare back-to-back performances with another DJ, or have the line-up of more tracks ready to use at the perfect moment, the 4-deck playback support on the XDJ-AZ gives you the flexibility to perform as you like.

You can also easily integrate the CDJ into your setup, so there's no need to change decks. With PRO DJ LINK™ compatibility, information about the beat and what's playing is synchronized between players, so you feel in complete control.

Thanks to the integrated SonicLink transmitter, you can enjoy ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring with the HDJ-F10 professional DJ headphones. Press a single button to pair the XDJ-AZ with the headphones and you can move around the DJ booth or stage freely, knowing you’ll never tangle or pull on a cable.

SonicLink is AlphaTheta’s own proprietary ultra-low-latency wireless technology. It transmits audio 20 times faster than the commonly used Bluetooth® SBC codec, so you’ll never notice a delay between pressing a button or scratching with the jog wheels and hearing the sound from the output.

*The XDJ-AZ doesn’t support a wireless connection with the WAVE-EIGHT portable wireless DJ speaker.

If you're familiar with the previous XDJ-XZ, you'll notice that several updates have been made to the design of the XDJ-AZ. By incorporating a 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology, the sound quality has been significantly improved to create crystal-clear, dynamic audio that can rock large events and clubs.

Access your cloud-based rekordbox library directly from the XDJ-AZ with CloudDirectPlay. You can use the latest version of your playlists and performance data, such as Hot Cue information, and even update it from the unit. This not only ensures a seamless DJ experience but also allows you to do all your preparation solely from your all-in-one system.

With support for Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal, the StreamingDirectPlay feature enables you to directly play tracks from the vast music libraries available on each service, all from this unit. You’ll also get analysis data such as waveform, BPM, and grid information so you can easily mix new and diverse music into your sets.

*To use StreamingDirectPlay on the XDJ-AZ, you’ll need to subscribe to the Beatport Streaming Professional or Advanced plan.

As well as playing tracks from USB drives, you can DJ by connecting to your PC/Mac or mobile device. And, if you want to showcase your individuality even further, you can play audio from external devices like turntables and samplers.

The unit has a USB Type-C port for PC/Mac connection, so you can use rekordbox for Mac/Windows in Performance mode or Serato DJ Pro and there’s no need for a paid subscription plan for either. And, if you use the Wi-Fi® connection for rekordbox Link Export, you can conveniently access tracks from your PC/Mac or mobile device without needing to plug in cables.*

* You can use the Link Export of rekordbox for Mac/Windows or rekordbox for iOS/Android. Link Export in rekordbox for Android doesn’t support wired connections.

The 3-Band Master EQ allows you to adjust the high, mid, and low frequency ranges. You can tweak the output audio according to the acoustics of the venue by balancing the sound and emphasizing specific frequency bands, etc.

With the dedicated button for the mixer settings, you can quickly check and adjust the mixer’s status on-screen. Changes to crossfader curves, channel fader curves, and other settings that were previously controlled by buttons or applications on the actual device can now be made on the display.
