The Gibson ES-339 is a modern classic designed for those seeking the tone and look of an ES-335, but desire a slightly smaller, lighter instrument. The pearloid dot inlay rosewood fingerboard on a hand-rolled Rounded "C" mahogany neck remind players where it all started. The 57 / 57 Classic + humbuckers paired with our hand-wired tone circuit showcases the versatile Gibson ES tone that players have craved for over 60 years. Tuning stability and precise intonation are provided by the Grover Rotomatic tuners with Kidney buttons paired with light-weight Aluminum ABR-1 bridge and Stop bar tailpiece.

Compact semi-acoustic guitar
Following the late 1950s "Electric Spanish" design, the practical ES-339 cherry tree body is made of three-ply maple and poplar laminate, with a central maple block connecting the top and back. Thus, the electric guitar offers extremely comfortable handling and the resonant sound of ES without high volume feedback. Thanks to the pleasingly strong rounded C-profile, the glued mahogany neck offers comfortable playing characteristics up to the 22nd fret of the rosewood plank.
Classic ´57 Pickups
With Gibson '57 Classic pickups that carry the genes of legendary PAF humbuckers, the Gibson ES-339 Cherry delivers authentic vintage tones with the airy, resonant timbre of the semi-acoustic construction. While the Gibson '57 Classic pickup delivers moderate output for harmonic cleansing and excess singing, the more powerful '57 Classic Plus humbucker on the bridge delivers a juicy vintage crunch that brings bluesy licks and rock riffs to life. The familiar 3-way toggle with separate volume and tone controls for each humbucker controls the Gibson's semi-acoustic tone.
Indestructible hardware
Naturally, an indestructible hardware rig with authentic vintage vibe completes the E-339 Semi-Hollow guitar. From the aluminum stop, the strings are guided over the classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, which guarantees an optimal intonation adjustment. Behind the Graph Tech nut, Grover Rotomatic tuners ensure a robust and precise tuning of the electric guitar.
