PowerStudio HM-2 Hum Eliminator

The HM 2 is a device designed to eliminate the humming (current 50 Hz AC) caused by the ground loops. It is also designed to convert asymmetric signals into balanced signals. Most of this humming (60Hz in the United States and 50Hz in most other countries) is caused by ground loops because electricity uses different channels to access the earth. These ground loops act like radio antennas capturing hum and noise. The HM-2 completely removes this by breaking the ground loop.
