Grooves in the channels reduce air friction, so the bass is punchy and robust, even if you place the speakers against a wall. In addition, the curved front corners ensure maximum rigidity and minimum resonance for clear audio at any volume.

The 5-inch subwoofer creates powerful, distortion-free sound even if you turn up the volume.

There's no need to decide whether you want a set of monitors that are ideal for DJing or creating music, because the DM-50D is ideal for both. Simply tap the switch to select DJ mode or production mode and the DSP settings will be optimized for the job, leaving you free to focus on your mix.

With RCA, mini jack and the newly added TRS input terminals, you can connect different types of equipment such as DJ controllers and mixing consoles, or the laptop or sound card you use to produce your own music. Connecting and disconnecting your headphones is simple via the connector on the DM-50D's front panel. You also no longer need access to the back of the speakers to adjust the volume, as the button is right in front of you.
