HeadRush Prime features a full suite of great sounding and easy-to-use vocal FX including Antares Auto-Tune®. Auto-Tune® is the industry standard in vocal pitch correction due to its ability to correct notes in a natural way. It can also be used as a unique effect, as heard on countless classic and modern hit songs. Used in conjunction with Prime other high-quality vocal FX such as Vocal Harmony, Doubler, Distortion, Delay, and Reverb, it’s never been easier to reproduce a polished studio-quality vocal sound in a live environment.

Housed in a durable road-ready steel chassis, the HeadRush Prime includes many thoughtful features for use on stage, including incredibly bright color-assignable LEDs and customizable OLED scribble strips that show each of the 12 footswitches' current assignment and status for each rig. You can even drag-and-drop to create set lists (custom orders of rigs) for your gigs. The HeadRush Prime includes an ever-expanding library of on-board guitar FX, amp, cab and microphone emulations, amp clones, impulse responses, as well as a full suite of vocal FX (including the industry-standard Antares Auto-Tune®)! These are premium emulations of the most cherished guitar and studio gear with unprecedented accuracy and jaw dropping natural dynamic response. This library is expanded on a regular basis via firmware updates (available via onboard Wi-Fi connection, or USB connection to Mac/ PC) that add new features based on user requests and feedback.

The HeadRush Prime features an onboard Wi-Fi connection that can connect directly to the all-new HeadRush Cloud via a local Wi-Fi network. The HeadRush Cloud is a free service for all HeadRush users where they can browse, demo, and download exclusive rigs and clones created by the entire HeadRush community, including featured artists. Users can quickly search and filter by the most downloaded and liked rigs, and they can also search by other parameters like genre. The HeadRush Cloud is the ultimate resource for finding out how to quickly craft a tone like your guitar hero or for when you’re just looking for inspiration for creating a new sound.

The HeadRush Prime is the world’s first FX processor with the ability to load songs directly from Dropbox over Wi-Fi for practice or to learn songs faster. Once a song is loaded, you can loop and slow down tricky sections, as well as change the pitch up or down in semitones to quickly learn songs in new keys. The Prime can also connect and play audio from any Bluetooth-enabled mobile device, which opens you up to using many more streaming and digital lesson services. Whether you’re working on transcribing your favorite face-melting guitar solos, expanding your knowledge on chord voicings, or just trying to learn a cover song for your next gig, the HeadRush Prime has everything you need onboard to get the job done quickly.

Navigating between different pedal modes has never been easier! Switch between Stomp Mode, Rig Mode, Hybrid Mode, Setlist Mode, or Song Mode on the fly. Just hold down the top-right footswitch to quickly jump between modes. Using the hands-free edit mode, you can adjust any parameter without having to bend over. Hold the footswitch assigned to the model that you want to adjust, select the parameter, and use the on-board expression pedal to fine-tune your settings!

The HeadRush Prime features a best-in-class onboard looper that you can use to layer parts during performances or use as a songwriting tool when inspiration strikes. Each loop has a maximum length of 5 minutes and can hold up to a whopping 20 minutes of layered audio at a time! When you’re finished, you can save your loops as .WAV files and export them to your Mac/PC vis USB Transfer Mode for sharing with the world. You can also import .WAV files to use the looper as a backing track player, and you can easily sync the looper to external MIDI devices like drum machines.

The HeadRush Prime’s multi-core processor delivers advanced gapless preset switching utilizing reverb/delay tail spillover, which means that the tails for any reverb or delay effects in your rig can be configured to continue to ring out when changing presets or turning the reverb and delay effects off within the rig itself. When the preset is changed there is no break in the reverb and/or delay signal, making your on-the-fly changes sound fluid and seamless, just like a professional studio recording.

The HeadRush Prime’s USB connection opens up the world of recording or reamping directly to a computer. When the HeadRush Prime is connected to your computer, you can select and use the HeadRush Prime as a 24-bit 96 kHz audio interface! When choosing the reamp option you can add the tone coloration of an amp to a pre-recorded audio signal—in this case, sending audio from your DAW through the HeadRush Pedalboard and then recording it back into your DAW. Recording professionals around the world know that reamping saves valuable time in the studio, and the HeadRush Prime makes it easier than ever.

Out of the box, the HeadRush Prime comes with over 300 perfectly captured impulse responses. These were meticulously created in a studio located in England with some of the most historic guitar cabs from Marshall, Fender, Vox, Orange and more! It’s also simple to load your own third-party IRs via drag-and-drop when connected by USB or directly from Dropbox via the Prime’s built-in WIFI. The HeadRush Prime has virtually unlimited storage for IRs with 1024 and 2048 sample lengths.

The HeadRush Prime assimilates seamlessly into your current rig with all the connections you need to handle any performance situation. The rear panel of Prime is packed with inputs and outputs, including a ¼-inch input for guitars, Combo XLR+¼-inch input with switchable 48V phantom power for microphones, (2) XLR outputs with switchable ground lift, (2) ¼-inch TRS outputs switchable between amp or line level, a ⅛-inch headphones output, and 5-Pin MIDI input and output connections. The Prime also features an onboard ¼-inch stereo FX loop to integrate pedals and outboard gear at any point in your signal chain and allows for advanced integration into your rig via the four-cable method. Additionally, there is a ¼-inch external amp output that can be used to change between clean and dirty channels or toggle other footswitch settings on a connected traditional guitar amplifier. In addition to the onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth audio connectivity, the Prime also features a USB-A input for importing/exporting files directly from/to a USB drive, as well as connecting external USB-MIDI controllers. The HeadRush Prime unites your existing equipment while opening a world of new sonic possibilities.

The HeadRush Prime features proprietary next generation cloning technology enabling you to greatly expand your onboard amp and FX library using real gear. The HeadRush Amp Cloner precisely captures the sound, dynamics, and most importantly, feel, of your favorite boutique, vintage, and modern amps, pre-amps, distortion pedals, overdrive pedals, and even fuzz pedals. Using the HeadRush Amp Cloner is as simple as connecting your target device to the HeadRush Prime and following the easy directions shown on the 7-inch touch screen. After the cloning process is complete, you can make flexible adjustments such as removing the speaker cabinet sound from an amplifier clone, so that you can use your clone with different cabinet models or impulse responses.

The heart of the HeadRush Prime is the 7-inch touch display (Exclusive Patent Pending Technology) and a musician-centric, intuitive user interface – literally touch, swipe, and drag-and-drop to instantly create and edit Guitar, Bass, and Vocal rigs with amazing speed and accuracy. The large display also gives clear feedback when performing live, especially when tweaking tones using the expression pedal in 'Hands-Free Mode'.
