The large jog wheels are responsive, reliable and easy to use - with a similar feel to classic CDJ units - and each one includes a display with the position of the playback head so you always know where you are in the track. You can also customize the Jog Feel to find your perfect jog wheel "weight". The MAGVEL FADER is sleek, robust and ready to translate every tiny movement you make into precision scratching.

The long tempo sliders on the DDJ-REV5 run horizontally across the deck sections, while the performance touch panels and Lever FX are positioned on the mixer section for dynamic performances, emulating the PLX series deck and DJM-S series mixer configurations in open format that DJs around the world love so much. Thanks to the proximity of the panels, levers and faders, you can merge scratching with the playback of the panels and effects.

Easily make mashups and live remixes using the Stems buttons on the DDJ-REV5. Your tracks will be divided into Stems within the software - voice, melody, bass and drums in Serato DJ Pro, or voice, drums and inst (other instruments, including bass and synthesizers) in rekordbox - which you can play separately.

You can use the different Stems in combination with Deck Move, so it's easy to perform and control several mashups and remixes live and simultaneously.

You can use the DDJ-REV5 as the centerpiece of a larger setup thanks to its wide variety of inputs and outputs, including an XLR master output that's perfect for use in professional environments. It also has 2 USB Type-C ports for PC/Mac, making it easy to switch between DJs at the flick of a switch on the controller.

Mixing between musical genres with vastly different tempos is easy with the new Auto BPM Transition. Choose a number of bars for the transition and, when you press the button, the playing track will gradually change tempo to match the one loaded to the other deck so you can seamlessly mix or drop in the new track. You can also set Stems, Auto Loop, and Key Lock control to be applied during the transition.

Just like Pitch Play, you can use the 16 Performance Pads to trigger a cue point in different semitones. But, with the new Piano Play mode, pitch changes are arranged so the pads form a piano keyboard, with the “white” keys on the bottom row and the “black” ones at the top. Choose from 3 scales and, even if you have no knowledge of musical theory or scales, you’ll find it easy to play a tune.

You can simply connect the DDJ-REV5 to a PC/Mac running the latest version of Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox to use either application for free - no license key or subscription required.
