A very faithful response, an excellent natural sound and an easy and fast assembly!


Developed under the direction of Ludovic Lanen with the assistance of the talented Jean-Claude Auclin, the CL21 Lanen microphone is specially intended for the recording and sound reinforcement of cellos.


Equipped with an electret cell capable of handling 140dB, it will capture all the dynamics and nuances of your playing. Its great linearity will perfectly respect the timbre and the sound of your instrument.

We have perfected an electret capsule that can take up to 140dB. At that level of performance the capsule will preserve the full harmonic envelope and warmth of your instrument.

Cellos come in various sizes, so they need a fully adaptable mounting system. We have created a clamp which is flexible, ingenious and easy to attach. The mic's flexible gooseneck allows you to place it at the very heart of the sound.
