Traditional Portuguese instrument called viola braguesa or viola de Braga typical of the Minho region. It has 5 double strings that lend themselves to a variety of tunings.

The APC 250 is a simple braguesa model, with a solid spruce top and laminated walnut sides, for a solid construction and a bright and present sound. The neck is mahogany and the fingerboard is black African wood.

With a simple and appealing decoration, this model has a round mouth, the oldest known shape of this instrument, as an alternative to the traditional ray mouth. It is an accessible instrument, of excellent quality, very useful for those exploring the sonorities of the traditional Portuguese chordophones.
