Diatonic soprano metallophone with metal bars, excellent for musical initiation. It comes with three alternative bars and a pair of beaters.
The Honsuy 49240 is a diatonic metallophone in C major, with 13 blades from C to A. It also comes with three blades – two in F# and one in A# – that allow the metallophone's key to be changed to G major (relative E minor) or F major (relative D minor).
It can also be configured for pentatonic scales by removing the syllables that are not part of the scale. The register of this metallophone is soprano.
The soundbox provides a defined sound with a pleasant volume, and is made of a lighter-toned wood that contrasts with the metallic tone of the blades.
