WDT-1 Wall Tuner
The WDT-1 wall tuner combines the functions of the KORG Pitchblack PRO Custom Shop tuner with the convenience of wall installation, making it ideal for stationary applications such as studios, schools and luthieries.
In addition to the well-known functions of Pitchblack PRO such as: large visual meter in "3D" style, 3 meter display modes: regular, strobe, and half-strobe, cable checker that warns of defective cables, output with buffer that minimizes changes in audio quality and mute function that allows you to tune silently, the WDT-1 even has a wireless clip transmitter ideal for tuning wind instruments by interpreting the vibrations emitted by the instrument. On some instruments such as saxophones, you can attach the transmitter to the instrument strap or any other vibrating part, instead of attaching it to the instrument itself.

Large 3D visual meter
A new meter provides a revolutionary visual effect. In addition to the powerfully illuminated LEDs that provide unprecedented brightness, the special treated acrylic design allows a 3D view of the fountain surface down to its depth. This means that tuning discrepancies can be seen easily from any distance or angle. The WDT-1 brings musicians a new tuning experience.
Three Meter Display Modes
Regular Meter Mode - As with using a needle meter, tune the string so that the LED in the center of the meter lights up. The illuminated LED moves to the right if the tuning is low, and to the left if it is high. The process is very intuitive;
Strobe Meter Mode - Tune the string so that the movement of the meter's LED illumination stops. The illumination flows from left to right when the tuning is high, or the other way around if it is low;
Half Strobe Meter Mode - Tune the string so that the movement of the LED illumination of the meter stops and the center LED lights up. The right side of the LED meter flashes in strobe when the tuning is high; and the left side does the same when the tuning is low. When the tuning is correct, the center LED lights.
Revolutionary Cable Checker function integrated into the WDT-1
Simply connect the two ends of a mono cable to the INPUT 1 and CABLE CHECK connectors and the display will tell you if the cable is defective. This is a convenient way to avoid problems on stage or in the studio.
Output with Buffer that Minimizes Changes in Audio Quality
The WDT-1 has a output with buffer to minimize any modification or additional noise in the incoming audio signal. There is also a Mute function that allows tuning without producing sound at the OUTOUT jack. The MUTE jack lets you use a foot switch to muting/unmuting the sound, for convenient tuning between songs during live performances.
