The Roy Benson TR402CS is a silver-plated C trumpet with a large bore (11.74 mm) and a yellow brass bell reinforced with wire. It features a gold brass leadpipe, nickel silver outer slides, and stainless steel pistons for durability and smooth action. The design includes a thumb hook on the 1st valve slide and a fixed finger ring on the 3rd, enhancing playability.

It comes with an additional set of Bb tuning slides (1st, 2nd, 3rd valve slides + main tuning slide), allowing it to be converted into a Bb trumpet. A lightweight rectangular case with backpack straps is included for easy transport.
